“Can I use this bulb to replace the bulb in my front porch which has a recessed can?”

I got these delivered to my house yesterday. Yes, they fit right into the light shades (cans) perfectly without a problem. Really good lights.

It's the size of a regular par38 bulb. You need a hue Hub to control functions of the bulb. It should fit fine as long as it's a par38 bulb you are replacing.

You should be fine for that. I use it indoors in my kitchen that has recessed can lighting. A month in with no problems.

Yes as long as the base is the same but for it to work you must buy the hub , also outside light should be white and not color.
