Q: QuestionCan I leave the speaker plugged in all the time instead of charging and remove? I just want a speaker on my desk at home so I can hear my phone better and louder. Just want to leave hooked up all the time!

- A:Answer Yes you can, but if you leave it that way year round the battery will eventually not hold a charge whatsoever. Some units, when the battery dies altogether, won’t turn on at all. Others will turn on but have to then rely on being plugged in at all times. If the latter happened, wouldn’t really be for a long, long time. If you want to try and combat stagnant battery issues from being plugged in 24/7, and you plan to keep it plugged in all the time anyway, try to drain the battery from full to dead, then charge it up again to 100% like once every month or two. Then you might feel better about leaving it plugged in at all times… just give the battery “some” activity. You’ll make it, it’s just not the best for the battery long term and usually takes a few years to start noticing any premature wear.
