Absolutely not. If you insist on doing it then at least use the protective cover.

Yes, side burns as well as upper lip however it stings a little more and doesn’t pick up the hair 100% since the hair is much shorter

No, it may remove some, I tried. It will however hurt like the dickens if you try it. I stretched skin taut and it broke more hair than it removed. I recommend beard trimmer, leaves fuzzy hair soft but removes excess length.
