“Will this protect an 85" TV from lightning strike surges? If not, what protect is recommended that is also compact? We are putting behind a wall mounted TV so space is limited. Thank you”

Eric, NO surge protector can guarantee protection from a direct lightning strike. What it can do is absorbs up to 2100 joules, which is solid for protecting high-end electronics from indirect surges. The best thing to do is just unplug the surge protector during storms for maximum protection.
