- Answer Must be playing a recorded voice memo then hold down the folder button and then quickly press the reverse button and the volume slider will pop on. You can increase and decrease with the reverse and forward buttons at this time

- Answer I did not have to do anything it automatically recognized it and I downloaded the manual I have a Mac, not sure if that had anything to do with it

- Answer You plug into the USB port on computer and it uploads the recording that you want. Then you can send the file anywhere you want
