• Yes, the permanent internal battery is rechargeable. Otherwise you would need to throw away the recorder after the battery became discharged for the first time.

• Yes it's USB C integrated charging port to an internal non-removable lithium-ion polymer battery unit. Here, I'll attach the PDF User Manual.
