“Light does not begin to illuminate until a minute before the alarm goes off, from the lowest to the highest intensity within 1st minute. Light is set at 10. I have spent over an hour troubleshooting. An alarm clock should not be this difficult to config”

Hi there, I would return the light. The light is supposed to turn on low 30 minutes before your alarm time and gradually increase in intensity until reaching the highest setting at your alarm time. You likely know this from the product description. :-) If the light isn’t doing that, it isn’t functioning properly and should be returned. Good luck!
