- Answer Yes. I work in a research lab where we actually use UV light to disinfect things all the time. The UV light will kill most any living thing that is on your phone.

QuestionDoes this charge my phone while it cleans it, or does it just clean it?

- Answer It can do both at the same time but you have to connect your own cable to the usb slot in the back. It comes with the standard USB and also a USB - C for the newer models. It comes with a little gap for the wire to go through so the lid closes properly.

- Answer Automatic when you close the lid. Kind of a waste since it restarts after you get your clean phone out, and then close the lid with nothing inside.

- Answer It takes about 10 minutes. The light comes on when you put your phone in the sanitizer and close the lid. The device light goes off when the sanitation is complete.
