“Question- why not add 2 belt loop attachments so it can be worn from a belt either sideway or with the opening on top. This is useless to me without it being sufficiently secured to my clothing or strapped to my hand. Just a thought.....”

You do not want the big shiny pouch on your waist. You would look ridiculous. It is best used in your pocket (if big enough) or in brief case or pack pack.

Please try again later.That is a great idea but I bought for kayaking/canoeing because it floats if someone tips my canoe PLUS is protected from the sun which has caused problems before. I live on the Gulf of Mexico and deal with extreme heat but works for extreme cold as well. Good luck with yours.
