It is easily installed, but you do need the amp wiring kit.

I would suggest working with the Geek Squad, they can inspect your vehicle and provide the best installation kit. If needed, they can also assist you with the installation of the subwoofer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is as easy as a standard amp installation. You will need to purchase an amp wiring kit in addition. You'll need red wire from battery to amp/speaker. Blue remote wire and either rca or dual speaker wire from stereo head unit to speaker/amp and black wire from speaker/amp to ground (frame of vehicle). You may also want a cross over if the head unit does not have this feature to control which frequencies goes to this speaker, but this is not needed just an additional option. Good luck.
