For one Sub u need an amp that pushes at least 250 watts RMS not max wattage. If you buy an amp that pushs more power you wont necessarily mess up the Sub, the amp ONLY sends the power the Sub asks for. Then when ur ready to get a more powerful Sub you won't have to get a new amp you get me? Hope that helped
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on how hard you want to push it. I have a kicker 720w bridgeable amp pushing my interior speakers and a pioneer 1200w amp pushing this sub. I have never had my radio up more than half way and it rattles my rear view and door speakers.
