These amps do their rated RMS power at each respective ohm rating without issue even with what would be considered fairly heavy usage. I have the 8701 d class mono block wired at 1ohm pushing a Sundown Audio E Series 15 v.3 D2 that’s very conservatively rated at 500w rms. Gain is set at 3/4 with no clipping indicated and no audible distortion for my particular subwoofer. These pioneer amps and slept on powerhouses dude. Well laid out dual sided boards with quality parts. They’re still distinctly Japanese so quality is high for very little money.
