“I have a Pioneer 8200NEX installed in my truck. However, I have to turn up the volume to max level to even hear it well. Is this something that would help me increasing the volume to a really loud sound? I really don't care much for the boom box bass.”

Yes,this amp would help with making your truck louder. Also try checking your speaker settings to see if you have the fader on.
