“I have this amp hooked up to a single 12” Rockford Fosgate p2d4 sub . Frequency set to 40 and gain set to normal. This sub handles 800 peak and 400 rms. I put the bass controller to min and if I turn it up the volume I’m getting a burning smell..why?”

• Because running at 2 ohm its push a little over 500 watts rms to the sub youll have to set the gain on the h setting
