Do you need a cable box with this tv null

No if you have the internet for streaming or/and a outdoor antenna.I have both and with the outdoor antenna I receive over 50 channels, with the streaming I down load the apps.

you can connect this TV to the internet and hook up your antenna to watch free over-the-air broadcasts from local channels.so your question for cable box is up to you if you still insist to see cable contents.
