“I'm having trouble with it downloading certain programs on the paramount plus app? Live tv seems to be gone on the app. But showtime and movies don't come thru that much”

You may need to call your service provider to resolve this. I had similar issue where I lost previous access to live tv sports etc. on Spectrum app and it had something to do with a location error, where the system got confused and thought I was accessing online services from somewhere other than my residence on file.
