“USB Connection & Apple Products I purchased this, intending to plug my iPod Classic (no BT) into the USB port but the VSX-530 didn't detect the iPod. I looked in the user manual and read that the USB connection doesn't work with iPods or iPhones. Has anyone discovered a work around for using the USB connection with non-Bluetooth capable Apple devices?”

I would suggest you just use the Audio in AUX input on the back and connect it to your phone that way. Just buy a cheap AUX to headphone jack cord from any big box store and that should give you the desired result.

Bryan from Pioneer Customer Support provided an answer - a Y cable with a 3.5 mm plug at one end and a pair of RCA connectors at the other. I ordered one from BB, connected it to the headphone port on the iPod, plugged it into the DVD inputs on the back of the Pioneer receiver and all is well.
