“When the specs state that the radio is SiriusXM ready, does that mean that it is compatible with a factory installed satellite tuner? I have a 2012 Maliblu with factory SiriusXM radio and I don't want to buy another tuner if I don't have to.”

Not sure but the XM Apple app is available via Apple Car Play. The head unit does not come with a satelite antenna.

Will have to purchase a Maestro module and new tuner for satellite radio to work, not including install charge. Was going to cost me an additional $100 with my radio (I had a factory installed satellite tuner/antenna), so I opted not to spend the money. With iPhone, you have Pandora, Spotify, iHeart and TuneIn apps to play music, in addition to the stored music on your iPhone.
