It was free installation...for the most part. You will still have 3 small charges ($16.99, $12.99, $16.99) for various install charges. Plus you would pay for the Sirius tuner for $69.99 if you go that route. To give you an idea, I'm buying this for my wife's 2012 Nissan Rogue and I paid $382 total. That's $199 for the receiver, $69.99 for the tuner and the balance for install kit, harness, adapter(s) and various other charges and taxes. Hope this helps.

As for the radio itself, I couldn't get the mic to work for the life of me. Contacted Pioneer who told me to let BB know right away, which I did. BB lent me an additional mic to see if that would fix it. Unfortunately it didn't. Same issue as 1st mic. I could hear everyone. They just couldn't hear me. Exchanged the whole head unit for a different one and that did the trick. Ko issues whatsoever with the 2nd one. All in all, great radio. P.S., I found this unit to be more responsive than its higher-end, more expensive ones.
