• As long as all of your devices are Bluetooth capable you would likely not use the USB port. However, there are some MP3 players that are not Bluetooth capable that would the use of an USB port.

• It comes with a USB cable so that you can connect to USB from the front. If you have a music CD collection, you can put all of your music from the CDs on a Flash Drive and plug the flash drive into the USB port and play your music that way.
