It has the wired input for steering wheel controls and you require additional hardware like the pag swi-rc controller to work with most steering wheel controls. That being said on both of my installs the cars did not have steering wheel controls so I did not try to hook them up. I hope this helps

Please try again later.To be honest I don't know because im getting my stereo install on sunday, but I buy this particular stereo because in the description says that it is steering wheel control ready and I'm interested on that feature too. I spoke to bestbuy tech and he said that if not compatible they sell a universal steering wheel interface. Hope my answer helps you
