You can only watch a dvd while in park. I believe you have to apply the e brake too. To watch while driving requires a bypass which most places won't perform.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The unit is built so that a DVD can only be watched while the vehicle is parked. Therefore, no distracted driver. If you read the reviews on the unit, I believe a work around is mentioned.
