“Do I have to connect the Reverse Shift Indicator? What does it do? Will the Backup Camera stay on / come on intermittently? Can I connect the Parking Brake wire to ground or do "I need a Bypass Module?”

If you’re trying to have dvd playing, you’ll need a bypass module unless you hook it to the parking brake. I grounded it on mine and it worked until I shut the car off. I then removed the stereo again thinking maybe it came loose. It did not so I researched the radio to see that it needs the bypass. My kenwood did not need it and just needed grounded but the newer ones need it. I got mine from amazon for like $12.
