Camera did you buy? I had a similar problem when I installed mine. I later found out my video cable was faulty. Are you sure that it powers on? I made these mistake, thinking im the man, wired everything and ran wires where I needed and had to undo most of it because of the issue I had mentioned earlier. 2nd time around I made sure it power up. I bought this camera eRapta ERT01 2nd Generation Car Rear View Reversing Backup Camera Automotive I installed on a 2007 Durango. I only needed to connect the video red power wire to the red power wire to head unit. In the rear to camera surprisingly I didn't need to connect that red end power wire of video cord to nothing and capped the end. When switch to reversed camera came on. When I hit the button next to home screen on head unit it turned on the camera. Make sure in your settings toy have it set to on too. Think it was camera view on. I'll take a pic later and upload the setting.
