“Will This blu ray player work on Lenovo Y510P laptop? If so, do I need an app to run blu ray movies? I have VLC player. Thanks”

• I bought 2 , both work on (1) my Lenovo M92p SFF desktop , Windows 10 Pro (2) New Dell Laptop i7 8th gen Windows 10 Home. U would need to download a free Bluray software (like leowoo ???) to play a Bluray disc. Not sure if VLC would play Bluray, I am told the new Nero 2018 could play Bluray disc (not sure either) NOTE: the Blue light on the device (indication it's ON) is ALWAYS on when U plug in your computer. I wish there is a way to turn it off without unplug the device from computers. Other than that it's an excellent - IMO - device

• Yes it will work on Windows or Mac. For Windows you don't need any special apps VLC works just fine.
