QuestionHow does the GPS maps Get updated on this unit , and Will GPS maps for Ecuador South America be avilable and loaded? Do you Get traffic updates? Is this unit Touchscreen ?

- Answer The GPS maps is updatable. The GPS maps function unfortunately doesn't work in Ecuador, and isn't available. Traffic updates is available, and the unit is touchscreen.

QuestionWill the gps continue even when u get an incoming call thru Bluetooth? Past radio had both functions but gps would stop until call was finished. Once call ended gps came back on and continued.

- Answer Yes, the GPS continues to work behind the call info. I believe there is a minimize option to get the call information out of the way as well.

QuestionI have a AVIC 5201NEX all of a sudden my gps quit working which also means my clock doesn't work. I'm the maps function is comes up but just states "looking for gps signal" can you help me? Why did it just stop working all is a sudden?

- Answer Your Firmware needs to be updated. Had the same problem, no GPS and the clock was wrong. Updated the Firmware from 1.05 to 1.06 and now the GPS works and the closk is correct. Click the following link and scroll down to your system. Download the instructions first before attempting the update. https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Support/Downloads

- Answer This unit will fit in your vehicle. There are additional parts needed such as a dash kit, vehicle wiring harness and antenna adapter. You can contact your local Best Buy and they can further assist you on the correct parts.

- Answer Yes it will work with your Mustang but you will need the sweet MUS1 system for replacing that factory integrated dash to retain Sync and climate controls. Please contact your local Best Buy and Geek Squad Autotechs for that.

- Answer Bro i put this in a 2017 f250 with a pac kit . Not sure but most steering wheel controls can be kept using a maestro or pac.
