• I purchased it to be apart of my stereo component system; therefore, the system is controlled by the amp that controls the volume for all components. It does not have have a volume control on the remote.

• I was looking for a cd player to use by itself. I purchased it not knowing about it had to be used with a stereo system. Can this be returned , if so where. I got it from Amazon.
