You didn't say which AVR you have. If you have an AVR that is listed as ATMOS then you will receive & send ATMOS. Always refer to your manual when setting it up. If you still cannot get ATMOS sound after that. then call the 800 number. Remember, ATMOS playback requires a Blue Ray player with a Blue Ray disc that has a Dolby ATMOS surround track. Also, I believe your player needs to be set to bitstream for it's output in the sound settings section. Your receiver & blue ray player must connect or handshake correctly to deliver ATMOS or DTS-X. Don't forget to select ATMOS on your blue ray movie's setup menu. Calibrate Calibrate Calibrate is my motto. Hope that helped? ~ peace
