I just purchased, but found nowhere on the Pioneer site how to register it on the Pioneer site.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is...per the receipt the unit I bought is returnable until January 31st. I bought it on December 4th. I would assume this is remaining inventory but for the price its at least $1000 less expensive than other brands, like the Denon X6800, that offer similar performance. This unit ever has a better amp /power supply section than that $3500 MSRP Denon unit. These facts come from an Audioholics review
