Depends on the case, but typically yes. Works fine with my Spigen Rugged Armor case. I know that otterbox cases have been reported to not work, but most "normal" slim cases should work with no issue. Typically this is a question asked on the case side, so I'd suggest contacting your case manufacturer or their website to ensure it supports wireless charging.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some have been successful in using this with a case on their phone. I have not. Google's answer is that it will only work with a case sold by Google. It may work with other cases. However, even if the case manufacturer states that the case is certified by Google and works with wireless charging, Google claims that this is true of Qi wireless charges only and not the Google Pixel Stand. The Pixel Stand I purchased does not allow wireless charging with an OtterBox Defender case on my Pixel 3 XL. I am aware that others claim that it DOES work so I recommend that you be prepared to have to keep replacing the Pixel Stand until you find one that works.
