“Will this charge my phone with it laying down flat? Or does the phone have to stand up?”

• It will charge your phone laying down flat but you cannot have a case around it. Maybe a really thin one but it did not work for my thicker case.

• It works best standing up. I haven't had much luck in landscape mode.

• I own a Pixel 4 phone and i can charge my phone either way, horizontally or vertically.

• Both. Either way you set the phone it will charge.
