“Does the wireless charger continuously transmit power, or does it only transmit power when the phone is on the base?”

• The phone must rest on the charger has prescribed an instructions for it to receive power through induction charging. In essence the plug allows the power to go to the base but the connection or transfer of power does not happen from the base of the phone until the phone rests

• It only transmit power when it is on the actual charger. Would not recommend buying this stand.

• When you set phone on stand. The light lights up, showing it’s turned on and charging.
