Q: QuestionCan you pair two phones at once with these.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello! Yes, the BackBeat FIT 305 has Multipoint technology which enables you to pair and connect your headset to two different Bluetooth audio devices at once. Note that you will not be able to use two devices simultaneously; instead, the benefit is that you will be able to answer an incoming phone call from either device using the headset. When making an outgoing call: The headset remembers the device you most recently used. Q: QuestionDoes this device have in-built playback controls? Only volume control?
Asked by Ashley.
- A:Answer It has three button: Volume up: press it once to increase volume. Hold it for 2 seconds, you'll hear a small beep and then it'll skip to the next song. Volume down: press it once to decrease volume. Hold it for 2 seconds, you'll hear a beep and it'll play the previous song. "square" button: multi-function button - turns the earphones on/off , activates assistant and pairs --> all of these functions depend on how long you hold the button -- the light blinks blue/ blue and red; depending on the function being performed.

Q: QuestionWhat's different: BackBeat Fit 300 vs BackBeat Fit 305? If one & the same, what # is on outer package? What # is on instructions insert? Are there multiple packages, with both #s? Online listings have both #s, why?
Asked by sto6.
- A:Answer Hi! The main difference between them is that the 305 includes a sports mesh pouch. There are different packages for each model but both units have the exact same features, hence the instructions must point them as BackBeat FIT 300 Series. Q: QuestionI purchased this product today and was trying to pair with my laptop and cellphone. It worked well with my phone, but my laptop cannot detect it; Does this product pair with only smartphones, not with computers? Or is it my laptop's problem?
Asked by Ashley.
- A:Answer It is mostly because of your Windows OS. Windows PC does not support bluetooth audio streaming without installing 3rd-party applications. However, any Apple computer will provide such support without installing any extra application.

Q: QuestionProbably an ignorant question, but can the batteries be changed in these ? I'm thinking the battery life probably ends after about a year. Also thinking about long trips with no access to a USB port, having an extra battery would be nice.
Asked by Kevin.
- A:Answer The battery is chargeable. My first pair had a bad battery, but Plantronics was fantastic and shipped out a replacement pair immediately. The new pair has a very long lasting battery. I use them all week for 4-6 workouts, often very long ones, and they never even get low on the battery. I've charged them on weekends for maintenance so they're ready to go, but never had to do it out of necessity. They charge very quickly, so the battery is ready to go.
