Bluetooth can have a hard time going through solid objects and it can cause the headset to disconnect. Most of the time the phone being in your pocket will be ok as long as you keep it on the same side of your body that you are wearing your headset. If the problem persists you may want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so, first delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices. Once deleted, make sure to power your phone completely off. Then power it back on. (This will reset the Bluetooth stack in the BT software on the phone). Then re-pair the headset with your phone. Thank you for contacting us. Plantronics Customer Support 1-855-765-7878
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've never experienced that problem - have the phone in my pocket all the time. I only lose connectivity when I walk away from my phone about 20 feet into another room. It reconnects as soon as I am back within range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I store my phone in my pocket as well (while at work) I have had it shut off a couple of times on me - but it reconnects quickly. It only does this once or twice a week - haven't figured out why yet. Doesn't do it enough to be a real bother though. Could be that this device just doest have the range of more expensive ones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is most likely the bluetooth transmitter in your phone. The signal should allow you at least that distance. I have found that removing the bluetooth connection profile and restarting your device can fix this issue. For continued problems the best thing to do is back up your device using a cloud and reset your device. This will clear any software issues. There is a possibility that your Marque 2 has a defective transmitter but outside of returning it or sending it in on the warranty, your device is a good place to start. To verify, I would connect to other devices and test the range for those before deciding that your Marque 2 is defective. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You might have to place your phone on the same side that you're wearing the BT device. See if that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had this happen but I don't know if it is the BT or my phone. It will disconnect but reconnect almost immediately so I can't say for sure if it is something that is a problem or not. Hope this helped
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not experienced that because I wear the device all day and keep my phone in my pocket and it never disconnects.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only time I loose reception is when I leave phone on desk and walk about 100 ft or more away from phone. Don't leave phone so far away...
