“Does it work with multi line systems? If so, how do you answer and put callers on hold while you answer the next calls???? Please provide and referrals to other cordless phones or headsets that have this capability with out having to use their base unit”

Hello! No, this unit is a single-line telephone system. However, to put a call on hold if you receive another call, you will need to do the following: 1) During a call, press the "CLEAR" button to place the caller on hold (The display screen will read Line On Hold.). 2) To return to the party on hold, press the "TALK" button. Since this is a cordless phone, you will need to use the base unit. This is the only cordless phone system that we have.
