“So is this a variant of a Rig 400 that's not atmos compliant? Or are all rig 400's the same minus the atmos code.”

The headset itself is the same with just minor changes to the packaging and accent colors and this RIG 400 variant does not include a Dolby Atmos activation code but it can still be used if you already have that service activated.
