Bob, I have found that the occasional muffled sound or distance is not related to the headset, rather the radio on the phone. I use a Samsung Galaxy and if I have a lot going on with the radio (WiFi connected, as well as checking or sending email, and running an app like maps or something) it's just interference to the Bluetooth radio. Happens with many phones. I have found the iphone to have the best ability to fix this, but it still happens on that as well. Cheaper phones tend to have more problems. All in all, I don't think this will be any better with any other headset.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sometimes the motorola phones in general do that, that's why I switched to samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine works great. I drive a work van and people say it sounds like I'm sitting in an office. Even on the freeway. I'd go exchange it and try another Voyager Legend.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ouch. maybe a new phone ... sorry
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.that model is a bad design. Plantronics Margue 2 works very well and is much more affordable

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use mine with a note 3 and it works ok
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When others have told me I was distant, the problem was my mic was canted up away from my mouth. One other time, bluetooth on my phone had shutdown.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use mine with my iPhone 5 and have not had this problem with this headset. I've used other headsets and got the same feedback..."sounds like I'm talking through a tunnel". I don't know much about the Motorola phones although I have used them for years in the past. Just know that with my iPhone, it all works great. One suggestion I might make: be sure the "wand" through which you talk is not pressed directly against your cheek--that affects the sound quality, I've found. I'm not sure that helps you. Best of luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only problem I had was when a call came in I could barely hear them . I called Plantronics and They replaced my unit and the new is just great. There was a hardware issue which they said sometimes happens. Plantronics stands behind their products. Just call them if this happens.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello- You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do this, first delete the headset from your phone's list of paired devices. Once deleted, make sure to power your phone completely off. Then power it back on. (This will reset the Bluetooth stack in the BT software on the phone). Then re-pair the headset with your phone. If the issue continues, please contact our technical support directly (http://www.plantronics.com/support) for more in depth troubleshooting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
