• It depends upon the size of the lens opening for whatever lens you are using. This size filter is for my Nikon 18-135 mm lens with a 67 mm lens opening. You can find the lens opening size printed on the side of the lens. With Nikon lenses like mine, the filter size (lens opening) is the last two (or3) numbers at the base of the lens.

• Do not have a p900, but if the lens has threads and it is 67mm in diameter should be able to be screwed onto the p900 lens. The actual filter does have have a ridge where the cover should engage.
