• Yes, a solid one. My first one lasted for a year, then needed replacement when the plastic around the clip broke.

• Yes. Mounting hinge is a weak spot, however...in this and other similar cases that I have used. This particular product has lasted the longest. My current one is my second one to replace the clip on my original case. Would I buy it again? I did. I am an active user so the clip and case is handled a lot every day. In this photo the clip holding the phone to the outer case broke off. The clip securing the case to the belt was ok.

• This product has a kickstand. It is not for use as a pocket or belt clip.
