I would take it back to the location of purchase.

The first one lasted in April ... then the hinge for the belt clip broke. The round plastic parts broke off the pin than attaches the clip to the back cover. Platinum customer service immediately sent a new case to me - no questions. The new one broke at the same place in less than a week. Then they sent me back to the store where I received yet another new one. We'll see. I'm 70 years old and pretty gentle on these types of things. Could be a bad batch or a weak design
