• Yes it will, The charger will charge all your electronics from phones to the 12 inch tablets. The electronics will only take what it needs from the charger.

• I was given the impression by a Best Buy associate that any one requiring a micro charger should be able to use this. It has the usual USB port to connect your choice of input size. I purchased a braided connection vs plastic coated traditional wire. I use it to quickly charge my Kindle and Galaxy SJ 7.
