• absolutely! it may not charge as fast as it would if you plug it in directly, but charging speeds will be comparable.

• Thanks for asking this question!! It is exactly what I needed. However, I cannot seem to find a use for this adapter either!! ARGH!! How can you plugs a USB into another USB without having to buy a new USB cable with two ports which are identical???! Am I the only one, or what is going on? If you plugs your old USB devices into this USB-C adapter, how can you connect this USB-C adapter to something else??! Super mad!
