“why does it say game preview edition? is this the full version? if not would i have to buy another copy for full version? how long will i have to wait to get one that doesn’t say game preview edition on the box? cheers”

This is just a download code for the current version of the game. The box is a cardboard sleeve with just a code inside. When the game is released in its final state, your copy will automatically update to that version. There is no announced physical version or release date for the complete and finished product as of the time of this writing.

The final version/launch for both PC and XB1 is supposed to come out sometime next year. I know that on PC, we will have the full game unlocked once it's released officially.

If you buy this version, you will automatically get the full digital version at no additional cost when the game is completed. I don't think Microsoft has said when the game will be completed.
