They will charge your card as a pre-authorized charge. The charge will fall off in 4-5 days. Then the day before the game comes out it will charge the full amount again.

Another person in the questions section stated that their bank was charged upon placing the order.

You will be charged when you make the order. However if it is cancelled for any reason before it ships you will get refunded the full amount
