No it is automatic
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to use the proper HDMI output on the TV for HDR support. Usually the one with the yellow tab. Then go into the PS pros settings and it will tell you if HDR is available and supported on your TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.PS4 -> you will have to go into the video settings and enable HDR. Your TV -> Specifically in Samsungs, you have to enable HDR in a submenu, and it only worked on the first HDMI port. I think the option was named "ultra range" or something. TV's do vary, and yours very well might be automatic. The best way to know for sure if its working is to go into video settings and look at the video status page on your ps4. *make sure to use the HDMI cord that is supplied with the ps4, as an older one may not support HDR*
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will automatically recognize it but the game has 2 be patched in hdr for it to work last of us and ratchet and clank have hdr patches
