A:AnswerThe newest model (7215/7216) has a couple of different advantages though it comes with a catch. 1) PS4 has the ability for 4k Games , not movies. 2) The processor is faster and display is improved.
However ,
-The fan noise can be bothersome for some people along with an increased heat factor.
-It still does not have the ability to play 4k dvds.
The choice is yours. A lot depends on your current PS4. Slim? Original? etc...
A:AnswerYes, there's at least two ways in which you can do so. The first (which is the one I did) that you can do is, once you get the Pro and set it up, you should be able to sign into your PSN account and download your games and save data from the cloud onto your PS4, assuming you have a PS Plus subscription *note, even if you don't have a PS Plus subscription you should still be able to download your games, not sure what that means for your saved data on the other hand. Though I must admit, for me this method took an extremely large amount of time to do, since I was downloading everything I had saved from my original PS4, but it really all depends on how strong your internet is, the weaker the slower and vice versa. The second, which might be the better way, is if you have a LAN cable. At this point all you will need to do is once you have the Pro all set up, just have your old PS4 & the Pro aside one another plug each end of the LAN cable into each of the console's and within your original PS4's settings go to System>Transfer Data from Another PS4. It will give you a screen telling you what data it will transfer onto the new PS4, beyond this point admittedly, I'm not exactly sure how this works since I didn't do this method, but I can recommend a really good and simple video on YouTube detailing this better. Just look up a channel by the name My Mate VINCE, he should have a video from about a year ago explaining this exactly. Personally looking back I wish I had done it the second way, after seeing how fast and simple it is, it really would've been super convenient. But nearly a year later I have my Pro up & running perfectly as if it was always the original PS4 I had so it really all comes down to personal preference, I hope this helped!
A:Answer- PS4 Pro - the Red Dead Redemption bundle is coming out. You get the Pro console and the game the same price as just the regular ps4 pro console.
- At least 50" 4K TV - I have a Samsung and it's perfect
- You can stream Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Vue, etc.
- You can play all the PS4 games with the Pro
A:AnswerSony has still not fixed this stupidity. You cannot connect a bluetooth headset unless it's made by Sony. However, if you have a smart TV, you will more than likely be able to connect your bluetooth headset to the TV. Just set audio output as t.v.
A:AnswerThere was a sale little bit back Nov 3-5 where if you bought a PS 4 Pro or PS 4 it came with C.O.D. Infinite Warfare for free, but there wont be a bundle for a while according to the web and Sony, check the black Friday deals. Shoot, then games might as well be free (black Friday prices)!
A:AnswerYes it has been stated that all of your original digital items for PS4 will be able to re-download onto the PS4 PRO. There is also the option with new software upgrade to use a Ethernet cable and physically hook up the Ethernet cable to both the original PS4 and PS4 PRO system and have it transfer all of your digital data to new system. So you really do not have to send hours and hours re-downloading everything again, This is something I wanted to know also
A:AnswerI have my PS4 Pro on the bottom shelf of a completely open entertainment center, and it’s sitting on the cooling fan that I had my launch PS4 on. It doesn’t seem to get warm at all, mind you it’s nowhere near any sunlight that comes into my living room.
A:AnswerThis is what The PlayStation website says: ( I attached a screenshot of their site to show what you asked)
PS4: Backwards Compatibility
PlayStation®4 is not backwards compatible and cannot play PS3, PS2, or PS1 disc-based games.
One way to play older games is to join PlayStation™Now, the PlayStation cloud-based gaming service.

A:AnswerThere is a Playstation Plus subscription service available but it is not required to connect to the internet and use services such as Netflix, etc.
The subscription is required however to play games online. There are some added benefits such as free monthly games and discounts in the Virtual Store as well. The best thing about it is if you also have a PS3 or PS Vita the single subscription also applies to those devices in regards to free games and perks however they do not require the subscription to play games online, that is only required on PS4.
It should also be mentioned that an annual membership is significantly less expensive then subscribing month to month.
A:AnswerI'll just assume you're asking about the storage size. You can easily answer that question by briefly using google search. Ps4 Pro has 1TB or 1000GB hard drive memory size.
A:AnswerNo normal 1080p Monitors or TVs will get a benefit as well in crisper more detailed textures & frame rate .. but obviously the full potential of this system will be shown with a 4K HDR monitor or TV
