The PS5 plays ultra HD Blu-ray’s and regular Blu-ray’s

This console does allow for blu ray but only, if you have the disk version. The digital version doesn’t allow for disks to be inserted so you can’t put a blu ray disk inside. Unfortunately I can’t and I do have old bangers but, that’s why I have an Xbox too. If you have multiple consoles, I recommend using one for videos or TV and maybe co-op games and the other console for single player or online games. This would save more space too.

Yes you can play blu ray on this and it very good view.
