Unfortunately, you won't be able to walk in and just buy one in-store. Sony made an official statement mandating all retailers to only allow sales for the PS5 to be online where customers can pick them up in-store or have them shipped: https://blog.playstation.com/2020/11/05/playstation-5-launch-day-ordering-update/ Keep an eye out on Best Buy and/or other retailers opening up orders though! All of them will probably get more stock on launch and some orders will be canceled. Those will probably be put back into the pool immediately for anyone to get.
