• As of this posting Sony has not revealed hard drive compatibility. It is known that you won't be able to play any ps5 games off of your external PS4 drive. It is not currently known whether you can play your PS4 games from your drive.

• Yes. On the official PS5 website, It will be able to use ps4 certified external hard drives.
