A:Answerwell it takes alot of patience and time.you have to follow streamers and twitters to find out when and where the next drop online will be and then put in the time to try over and over again until you finally obtain one.I was online everyday for 8 days straight until I finally got mine and I consider that lucky.Theres people that have been trying since its release date on November 12th and still have had no luck. Finally got mine from best buys drop on November 22nd after staying up all night and it finally went live at 5 a.m.My best advice is to follow a guy by the name of shyvguy on you tube and he will keep you informed of drops.
A:AnswerI was able to purchase one today at 12:15 CST. Th way Best Buy does this great compared to other retailers. Their site is bot-proof because of the steps you are required to take to actually complete the transaction. They also gradually release the PS5's instead of one large dump. Once you get one in your cart NEVER start over regardlessof the message you may get !!!!!!!!!!! Refresh cart over and over until it kicks you to the next step. You can get all kinds of weird messages when the site is getting crushed with packet traffic.
A:AnswerI had the same question prior to purchasing. Here's what I learned thus far. The main value to the disc version is that you can play PS4 disc games or Bluray movies that you might already own or can find a good deal on, using the PS5 disc drive. I previously thought the disc version would use less HD space since the console could read off the disc rather than install onto the HD. However, after playing Miles Morales on the disc version, it still takes up ~80GB on the HD (I'm not sure how much space it takes up on the digital version but guessing about the same). Was hoping that the disc version would allow me to have more games ready to play but with the HD usage it might not be the case. If you don't have a need to play PS4 or Bluray discs then I'd recommend saving the $ and buying the digital version.
A:AnswerCheck youtubers love stream they will help you with ps5 restock to secure your bag. They will tell you which retailers are going to have stock.
A:AnswerSony has confirmed that they're releasing more units before and after Christmas, upwards of 10 million units. You'll be able to buy it alright, but the catch is you'll have to wait likely until it is late December.
A:AnswerYes like 99% of playstation 4 games are playable but only SOME games are enhanced to look even better on Playstation 5. So if you any playstation 4 games and have playstation 5 you will be good to go.
A:AnswerNope, this will definitely never happen. The internal drive and connection is always customized with anti-piracy and anti-hacking in mind. The chances of them allowing use of a generic external USB blu-ray drive is zero.
A:AnswerIts bots hon not actual people we all need to raise awareness that scalpers are sending automated bots to overload every website every drop of stock and they don't care about your situation your circumstance they only care about money period and best buy is the only retailer who has shot it straight with me and gave me the truth that they are aware this is happening and trying to make it fair for LIVING BREATHING PEOPLE to buy these for their FAMILIES not just bots and scalpers trying to ruin Christmas the one time a year we can all have a break from the political warfare happening and this virus and all the tension but you see some people just don't care and BestBuy is doi9ng everything they can to roll out their stock and constantly buy more but i suggest everyone call their retailers and tell them to do a mix of in-store and online because this all online BS is what the scalpers and boters were hoping and itching for. happy hunting itll be near impossible tp get this for your little one due to people who don't care
A:AnswerOpen box is not refurbished although some people might use it interchangeably. Refurbished means it went back to the manufacturer or authorized repair depot for reconditioning before putting it back for sale. An open box is just simply someone returned it back to the store after it has been opened, for whatever reason (defective units are sent back to the manufacturer - that is if the previous customer was honest and told the CSR that the unit was defective).
